Hi, I'm Katie! I graduated from the Game Design program at USC with a specialization in Video Game Programming in December 2018.

Since then, I've been working in production at Blindlight, a video game voice over production company, Sony Pictures, working on Alexa voice games, and Santa Monica Studio.
Below, you will find my best work from the past few years. Enjoy!

PRODUCTION COORDINATOR
Works with UI, Progression, and Systems/Tech Design teams to manage workloads, track progress, and plan towards milestones & playtests.

TA for Video Game Programming Course (taught in C++)
Responsible for assisting students' learning, debugging code, grading assignments and exams, and attending lab sessions.

Serves as first point of communication between production office and voice over studio, works with voice directors and engineers to ensure sessions are at target pace and quality, contacts talent agents for booking, and assistant writer on ongoing projects.

GAME DESIGN
INTERN
Designed and programmed a 3 minute horror VR experience in Unity with a team of 6 interns, reusing film and game assets. Textured and edited game assets in Maya Our project became Alien: Blackout for mobile (available on App Store, Google Play).

AOFL USER RESEARCH INTERN
Assisted in User Research Testing at Age of Learning with children ages 2-8 as well as parent testing. Annotated sessions and presented key findings to design teams. Reviewed session scripts.

BLINDLIGHT PRODUCTIONÂ INTERN
Assists production managers in acquiring voiceover assets for video games: preparing scripts for recording sessions, writing up session contracts and paperwork, and maintaining project records.
